The Polaris 380 is powered by the pressure of clean water returning to your pool. With the 380 your filter is free to cleanse the water, leaving your skimmer available to clean the top six inches of your pool where 75% of the bacteriological contaminants live. The in-line back-up valve automatically frees the 380 if it gets cornered and keeps it cleaning without interruption. For optimum performance the Polaris 380 installation booster pump and timer are required.
